PURPOSE:To support a press-contacting roller in a bearing and energize it with extremely simple structure and to easily assemble and disassemble it by providing the bearing which supports rotation at both end parts of the press- contacting roller and pressing the roller by a spring member which is energized along a guide groove where the bearing is fixed. CONSTITUTION:A bearing member 24 has a rectangular sliding part 24a at respective outside parts and is fitted in a narrow part at the upper part of a guide groove 25 formed in both side walls of a device container and disabled to rotate. In this state, the member is energized upward with the repulsive force of the compression spring 26 as the spring member pressed in between the bearing member 24 and the bottom surface part of the device container and the press-contacting roller 23 receives uniform pressing force at both ends by a compression spring 26. Consequently, average press-contacting force operates on a fixing roller 21 to overall length and the roller functions sufficiently for the fixation of an image and the conveyance of recording paper. |
