The present invention relates to a method for disturbing the transmission of electromagnetic radiation which is produced by a source in a predetermined wavelength band and which is intended to be picked up by a receiver intended to detect the signals within the said band, characterised in that it consists in interposing, between the said source 1 and the said receiver 4, a screen 3 absorbing at least a part of the radiation emitted in the said wavelength band, and which absorbs at least a part of the radiation emitted in the said wavelength band in order to re-emit it at wavelengths outside the said band.
