The invention relates to a package more particularly intended for fragile food products such as spices or herbs which are in the form of dried leaves or sprigs. According to the invention, the package 1 is formed from a flexible sachet 2 containing the products 3 to be packaged and a strip 4 folded over on itself and covering the said sachet 2, the ends 5 and 6 of which strip are fixed together to the sachet 2. Furthermore, the strip 4 has, in its central section, folding zones which allow it to form a base 13 for the package 1. The invention will be applied particularly in the food industry. <IMAGE>
