The invention relates to a stray X-ray radiation screen consisting of individual strips 1 which are arranged butted side to side and for their part consist of at least one radiation-absorbent layer 3 and at least one radiation-transparent layer 2 and are permanently joined to one another by means of an auxiliary layer 5 by heating and subsequent cooling of the latter, if necessary being aligned with a focus. The object of the invention is to specify a stray X-ray radiation screen which not only has improved properties with respect to its function of suppressing stray radiation but is also more cost-effective in terms of production. The object of producing a stray x-ray radiation screen which has as high a shaft ratio as possible without there being an impermissible rise in the Bucky factor, and which can also be produced in a favourable way as a focused stray X-ray radiation screen, in particular, is achieved according to the invention by providing that the radiation-absorbing layer 3 is a pigment-binder layer and that the strips carry a further layer 4 which is electrically conductive. <IMAGE>
