A computer is described, with: &cirf& a central processor unit &cirf& a keyboard which is connected to the central processor unit, and includes a typewriter keyboard, a calculator keyboard and command keys &cirf& a display device, which has a screen with a screen logic component &cirf& a screen controller with graphic capability, to process the screen information signals before the screen is driven. The display device has a liquid crystal screen. The screen controller has two microprocessors, of which one is provided to control the hardware, the other for application software. The two microprocessors each have data memories, which are independent of each other.
