A device for fastening at least one container relates to a clamping unit which is connected to a fixed point and is coupled via a rod to the container to be fastened. The rod, to be hung in an opening of a container corner fitting, is reliably guided in the opening by a fastening hook of special design located at its end and is also protected from falling down as long as the rod is not yet connected to the clamping unit. In a preferred embodiment the rod is provided with a multiple head which has at least two fastening hooks.
