PURPOSE:To reduce degree of generation of unevenness of image by dispersing particles comprising specific mixture in a protective layer. CONSTITUTION:An emulsified product comprising substantially uniformly and separately disperset combined produce obtd. from a mixture of hydroquinone derivs. expressed by the formulas [ I ]-[III], or mixture of isomers thereof having <=100 deg.C freezing point, with polymer insoluble in water but soluble in org. solvent and having recurrent units contg. -(C=O)-O- bond such as polyvinyl acetate, polymethyl methacrylate, polyester of 1,4-butanediol with adipic acid, or polycaprolactone in the binder comprising hydrophilic colloid such as gelatin, is coated on a photographic layer and dried to obtain a protective layer. By this method, oxidation of developing component by the oxygen in the air during development of the treating liquid is prevented. |
