PURPOSE:To attain simply the pickup at the slow speed shot mode by completing video recording after a pickup time corresponding to one frame elapses from the next video recording point of time and then rewinding a type and making the titled device standby for the next pickup. CONSTITUTION:A low speed shot switch 54 is closed at the low speed shot mode. A control section 20 outputs a recording signal (REC) leading at a time t3 after a prescribed time elapses from the point of time receiving a start signal to a terminal 100 of a slow speed shot control circuit 60. A time t1 setting circuit and a time T2 setting circuit of the circuit 60 generates a stop signal having a pulse width T2 at a time t4 after a time T1 elapses from the time t3 and outputs the signal to the control section 20. The control section 20 makes a recording signal fall down at a time t5 after a prescribed from the reception of the stop signal to stop the video recording. Then, a pause signal (PAUSE) representing the state that the pickup preparation is finished at a time T6 is outputted to a terminal 102.
