The invention relates to an arrangement for program control of instruments exhibiting their own temperature control or temperature regulation, especially instruments without electrical auxiliary energy, whereby for each instrument at least one temperature sensor (11, 12, 13,...1n) forming a component of the temperature control or temperature regulation is provided, where the output from the temperature sensor is connected directly or indirectly to an influencing device (21, 22, 23,...2n). The essence of the invention consists in that the arrangement is equipped with a time base circuit (3), whose output is connected to an input of a programmable timer (4) known per se, that, furthermore, in the environment of each temperature sensor (11, 12, 13,...1n) a heat transfer element (61, 62, 63,...6n) is arranged, whereby the output(s) from the programmable timer (4) is (are) connected through a matching unit (5) to the input(s) of the heat transfer element(s) (61, 62, 63,...6n). <IMAGE>
