PURPOSE:To obtain a light receiving member having superior durability, mois ture resistance and no residual potential by forming a light receiving layer of a specified amorphous material having a multilayered structure to the uneven surface of a support. CONSTITUTION:A light receiving layer 102 consisting of the 1st layer 102' and the 2nd layer 102'' is formed on the uneven surface of a support 101 having plural minute and spherical dents to obtain a light receiving member 100. The light receiving layer 102 is made of an amorphous material contg. Si atoms, Ge and/or Sn atoms and at least one kind of atom selected among O, C and N atoms. It is preferable that the amorphous material further contains H and/or halogen atoms. |
