PURPOSE:To obtain a smooth and defectless bead of bottom leg even if a rotation angle is added to inclined welding by setting the amt. or ZrO2+SiO2 and amt. of org. material in a coating material to a specific range. CONSTITUTION:A coated electrode for inclined fillet welding is constituted by coating a coating material contg. 8-20% (wt%, hereinunder the same) ZrO2, 12-30% SiO2, 5-15% Fe-Mn, 1-7% org. material, 25-60% iron powder and 1-9% Al2O3 in which (ZrO2+SiO2) is <=45% on the outside circumference of a mild steel core wire. |
