PURPOSE:To detect an accurate temp. and to avoid wearing of a temp. detector, by directly measuring the temp. of the central part of the flow of the material to be extruded in about the central part of the flow path for the material to be extruded in an extruder. CONSTITUTION:A temp. detector 10 has a bridge part 11 crossing actually a flow path 4 and a supporting part 12 supporting a bridge part. The bridge part 11 is set in such a way that it does not disturb the flow of the material to be extruded and it has a streamlined cross section. The supporting part 12 extends from both ends of the bridge part 11 and is inserted into supporting holes 13 in a wall part 6 constituting the flow path 4. A penetrating hole 16 extends through about the center from an end of the supporting part 12 to about the central part of the bridge part 11 and is open to the downstream side of the flow of the material to be extruded. A temp. sensor 17 such as a thermo-electric couple is inserted in this penetrating hole 16 and the position is set and fixed with a silver wax in such a way that the extreme point, i.e. the temp. detecting point 18 is exposed at the open hole of the penetrating hole 16. |
