PURPOSE:To enhance the detergency, frothing power, emulsifying power, etc., by using N-(2-alkyl-2-hydroxyethyl)-diethanolamine diphosphoric ester salt expressed by the specified general formula as the surfactant. CONSTITUTION:N-(2-alkyl-2-hydroxyethyl)-diethanolamine is dissolved in a benzene solvent, 1-10mols, base on 1mol of the compd. pyrophosphoric acid is added to the soln. and phosphoric acid esterification reaction of carried out under agitation at room temp. for 2-10hr. The formed ester is taken out by decantation and dissolved in water. Potassium hydroxide is added under agitation to the aq. soln. to regulate the pH to 6.0 and then the soln. is concentrated. Subsequently, the concentrate is purified by preparative high-speed liq. chromatography to obtain a surfactant consisting of a compd. expressed by the formula (R is a capryl group, a lauryl group, etc., and M stands for potassium). |
