PURPOSE:To reduce the trouble about the pollution of a photographic material due to the generation of a sludge and a tray by recovering an electrolytic silver from a prefixing solution using an electrodialysis method. CONSTITUTION:The color photographic material is processed continuously with a color developer, the prefixing solution and a bleach-fixing solution followed by recovering the electrolytic silver from the prefixing solution using the electrodialysis method. Thus, the blinding of the electrodialysis film is minimized and the silver is recovered with a high recovering rate whereby the silver is almost recovered. Further the supplement of the bleach-fixing solution may be remarkebly reduced, thereby making substantially the recovery of the silver unnecessary in the bleach-fixing solution. As the variation of the composition in the prefixing solution is reduced, the supplememt of the prefixing solution may reduce, and the storage of the prefixing solution is improved and the corrosion of a stainless steel is remarkably reduced. |
