PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a card, to shorten a test time, and to prevent an operator from misoperating by programming test items and setting test contents as modes, inputting test data by the operator on an interactive basis, and testing the card automatically. CONSTITUTION:A communication I/F card 1 is connected to a system bus and a CPU 4 is reset; and then a test program stored in a ROM 9 is read out from an input/output terminal 10 and a test is conducted. When a test mode is inputted from the input/output terminal 10 so as to conduct the test, a test program corresponding to a manual, semiautomatic, or automatic mode is read out. When the test is conducted in manual mode, a test name and test data are inputted and when the test is conducted in semiautomatic mode, on the other hand, the test items are nearly the same with the test in manual mode, but the test data are stored in the ROM 9 to reduce the intervention of the operator as much as possible. |
