摘要 PURPOSE:To allow the maximum heat dissipation effect to be provided in accordance with the change in temperature of a heating body by making radiation fins attached to a heating body (cylinder blocks of an engine and the like), the characteristics of which is different by temperature, out of a shape memory alloy. CONSTITUTION:In the heat dissipation of a cylinder head and an engine for a motor-cycle, a radiation fin section 1 is made of a shape memory alloy while it is formed integrally together with fins 3 in a brim form, the number of which is determined to meet sufficiently the requirement for the maximum heat dissipation so as to be fitted onto the outerphery of a cylinder 2. And a radiation fin section D is designed so that the radiation fins 3 may be bent down while they come in contact with the adjacent fin 3 holding air among them as shown in the figure A when an engine is cold. This helps to expedite an warming-up operation to an extent to a certain temperature when the engine makes a cold start. Then when the temperature reaches a point where the heat dissipation is required as the engine has been warmed up, each of the fins 3 is allowed to open as a flower opens as shown in the figure B for maximizing its radiation surface area so as to allow the maximum heat dissipation effect to be provided.
