The problems that occur during cooling, and possible cutting and/or packing and subsequently putting a relatively large number of different, baked products in a crate or container for each customer, are removed by a special buffer plant, to be controlled by a computer which can process the production and the order data. Said buffer plant comprises a large number of belts for the various products and special provisions can have been made for possible cutting and or packing, and for efficiently handling products during a production which is far smaller than the length of one belt of the buffer plant.
