<p>The process consists of (a) preparing eyelets consisting of a plastics ring with an integral strip directed alternately into one or other side of successive eyelets; (b) perforating or cutting a pair of holes simultaneously and successively along the curtain tape; (c) moving the tape along in amount correspg. to twice the spacing between successive holes, so that the pair of holes is situated under the middle of the eyelet; (d) feeding a pair of interconnected eyelets transversely step by step, through the ends of the strips; and (e) finally squeezing and clinching the rims of the eyelets.</p> |
