PURPOSE:To prevent the incidence of the greater part of scattered X-rays from an object to an X-ray detection element, by arranging thin lead plates at a pitch narrower than the opening width of one element of an X-ray detector so that an X-ray transmitting direction coincides with an X-ray focus direction. CONSTITUTION:X-ray blocking thin plates are arranged at a pitch narrower than the opening width of an X-ray detector 3 so that an X-ray transmitting direction coincides with an X-ray focus direction. That is, an X-ray tube 2 is mounted to a rotary plate 1 and the detector 3 is mounted thereto so as to be opposed to said X-ray tube 2. Further, a grid 4 is fixed to the X-ray incident part of the detector 3. X-rays emitted from the X-ray tube 2 transmits through a specimen 5 to be incident to the detector 3 and converted to the electric signal corresponding to the intensity of X-rays. Further, in order to obtain an X-ray CT image, the rotary plate 1 rotates around the specimen 5 and X-ray transmitting data from all directions are measured. By this method, the greater part of scattered X-rays from the object are prevented from being incident to the X-ray detection element. |
