<p>1. A machine for cutting tiles, particularly tiles made of earthware, constituted by : - a frame (1) comprising a flat face (2) for supporting a tile (5) to be cut, - at least one guide rail (8) which extends parallel to said supporting face (2) of the frame, which is in spaced apart relationship with respect to this supporting face and which comprises a lower face (8a) parallel to said supporting face (2), and - a cutting tool support (11), on which is effectively mounted a cutting tool (12), which is mounted on said rail to be pivotally guided with respect to this rail parallel to a plane (V) perpendicular to the supporting surface (2) of the frame and parallel to the rail and which comprises a supporting member (20, 21) capable of being in contact with said lower face (8a) of the rail so as to limit the clearance of the tool support in the direction opposite the supporting face (2) of the frame and to allow a staying and pivoting of this support (11) towards this supporting face (2) of the frame adapted to create a thrust (A) of the cutting tool (12) towards the tile (5) to be cut and disposed on the supporting face (2) of the frame, between this supporting face and the guide rail, characterized in that the tool support (11) comprises at least two separate locations (17-18) for fixing the supporting member (20-21) on the lower face (8a) of the rail, which, in the direction (D) of guiding of the rail (8) are situated on either side (V17) (V18) of the cutting tool (12).</p> |
