IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PURPOSE:To obtain a sharp and for-free image by a jumping development method using a specific magnetic toner. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic material powder consisting of particles in which metallic iron exists at 50-100wt% ratio and other necessary toner components are incorporated into a binder resin to constitute the magnetic toner. A magnetic toner layer is formed on a toner conveying carrier. The magnetic toner layer is supplied into a developing space acted with an oscillating magnetic field in such a state that the layer is not in contact with the surface of a latent image carrying body. The magnetic toner particles of the magnetic toner layer are flown by the oscillating magnetic field to develop the latent image formed on the latent image carrying body. The visible image is formed with a transfer stage and fixing stage. The magnetic particles are adjusted to <=3mum average grain size and are incorporated into the toner particles at 10-70wt% content ratio.
