Platinum (II) complexes of 1,1-cyclobutane-dicarboxylate has the formula (I): (where R is a dialkylsulphide or trialkylphosphone gp. each alkyl opt. contg. hydroxyl gps. and having two carbon atoms at most. Intermediate of formula (II, R = (HOCH2)3P): are also new. Cpds. are for treating tumour diseases. (First major country equivalent to ES8606204-A).
