PURPOSE:To reduce noise without deteriorating performances by constituting a block row from a fundamental block row and a hase-difference block in the block constitution longer than the length of the unit block constituting the fundamental block, in a low-noise tire for passenger car, etc. CONSTITUTION:A fundamental block A is constituted by arranging unit blocks A1-A3... in an equal pitch along the equatorial plane, and blocks B1-B3, C1, and C2 are arranged on the both sides, having the phase shifted by S, M, L, m, and n for the unit blocks A1-A3, and phase blocks B and C are formed by repeating the phase shift periodically or at random. Each length lb, lc of the unit blocks B1..., C1... constituting these phase blocks B and C is set longer than the length la of the unit block A1... of the fundamental block A. With such constitution, a low-noise tire can be obtained without deteriorating the tire tread performances such as essentric-abrasion resistance. |
