PURPOSE:To maintain secure fixation performance without increasing the power consumption of a flash fixing part by passing a form through the flash fixing part almost at the same speed even when the form deviates from a tractor during printing operation. CONSTITUTION:Oscillators 15 and 16 generate pulses of periods t1 and (t1+t2) respectively and the periods t1 and (t1+t2) correspond to the paper feeding speed (x+alpha) of a puller 8 and the paper feeding speed (x) of the tractor 2. When the end of a form is detected, the output of a form end detector 4 has a logical value 1 and an AND gate 12 is opened to send pulses of the oscillator 16 to the driving circuit 13 for a puller motor 8. Consequently, a driving circuit 13 is driven at the clock period (t1+t2) and the peripheral speed of the puller motor 14 becomes (x). Namely, even if the form P deviates from the tractor 2, the form feeding speed at the flash fixing part is equal to the form feeding speed (x) during continuous printing operation and constant flash light energy is supplied to the form P, so that an unfixed part is prevented from being formed. |
