PURPOSE:To omit one of exciting windings by providing a tap winding which is operated also as the exciting winding at the feedback side of a main transformer in a single-phase unit and at the main leg side of a core different in a magnetic path from the core of the main transformer in a 3-phase unit, connecting the exciting winding wound on the main leg of the transformer in parallel with the tap winding, and wiring in a single winding a series widing, a branch winding and the tap winding. CONSTITUTION:An exciting winding 4, a branch winding 2 and a series winding 1 of center-tap structure concentrically on a main leg 9A which forms a core 9 of a main transformer, and a tap winding 15 which is also operated as the exciting winding and a tertiary winding 3 are concentrically wound on a feedback leg 9B. The windings 4, 15 are connected in parallel. To connect the three transformers thus wound, neutral point terminals 0 are first connected in parallel, and coupled in a star connection with the windings 1, 2 and 3 connected in cascade. Thus, the feedback leg exciting winding 6 normally used is operated also for the winding 15, thereby reducing the loss. |
