PURPOSE:To make an image forming position coincident with an image projecting position accurately and to obtain an invariably sharp image by holding the length of the optical path from a scanned position of an original to the image projection position invariably constant through the operation of an optical path adjusting means based upon the output signal of a distance detecting means. CONSTITUTION:When a single piece of paper as an original is placed on contact glass 2, light from a light emitting member 30 passed through an optical path A and converges on a position 34 on a photodetecting member 32. On the other hand, the light converges on a position 35 on the photodetecting member 32 through an optical path B where the reverse surface binding part of a thick body, etc., as an original 20 curves up. A motor 43 moves a lens body 17 and a CCD memory 18 forth on the basis of the distance of a shift in convergence position to align the image forming position of an image coincident to the photodetecting position of the CCD memory 18, obtaining a sharp image. |
