PURPOSE:To make it possible to give an efficient gas exhaust by forcibly exhausting by means of vanes from an auxiliary gas intake opening the lamp smoke which is produced during cooking and can not be sufficiently sucked through main gas intake opening. CONSTITUTION:A first auxiliary gas intake opening 4 is formed between the outside of an air box 2 and the side boards of a hood main body 1, and from this opening 4 an auxiliary gas intake passage 5 is formed, which reaches the upper section of a top plate 2a. At the central section of the top plate 2a of the air box 2 a motor with two shafts projecting on both sides up and down is installed, and the shaft projecting into the air box 2 is provided with first vanes 7, and the upper shaft is provided with second vanes 8. Those vanes 8 are enclosed by a casing 10 which has an intake opening at its upper section. At the section which is on the front face in the hood main body 1 and corresponds to an auxiliary gas intake passage 5 a second auxiliary gas intake opening 11 is provided, and at the rear section of the hood main body 1 a discharge opening 12 is formed which communicates with the inside of the air box 2 and the inside of the casing 10 at the upper section of the air box 2. Because vanes 7 and 8 are provided as explained above, lamp smoke is sucked efficiently from the main gas intake opening 3 and auxiliary gas intake openings 1 and 11 and it is exhausted. |
