In order to obviate shrinkage cracks occurring when concrete floors with relief tracks (1) are cast in warm climates, a saw cut is made centrally parallel with the tracks. It the tracks have holes (6), deformed steels (10) can be inserted to ensure satisfactory connection. - The saw cut enables shrinkage to be absorbed so that the formed seam can easily be filled back with plastic/elastic material. It is of advantage to use smooth steels over the seam. |
