PURPOSE:To produce a member for a heat absorber, etc. formed with required ruggedness on the surface by positioning an irradiating device which irradiates a beam so as to face the member, moving the device relatively with cross feed and longitudinal feed at an optional pitch with respect to said member and irradiating the beam. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam 5 is irradiated from a laser oscillator 2 to the surface of a member 1 placed on a table 6. The table 6 is cross fed at an optional pitch and longitudinally fed at an optional pitch so as to intersect with the cross feed direction at an optional angle by X-, Y-axis driving motors 7, 8 provided with an NC control device 9, by which the table is moved to scan relatively between a member 1 and the beam 5. Required ruggedness 1a is thereby formed on the surface of the member 1 and the member for a heat absorber or heat exchanger having a high effect of absorbing and exchanging heat and having excellent durability is thus obtd. |
