The invention relates to an interface cabinet for a microcomputer, with a multi-bus structure and power supplies for detectors and actuators. It makes it possible to produce automation systems from a professional microcomputer without risking incompatibilities. It minimises the influence of electrical parasites. It consists of a cabinet in which are grouped the input and output logic state indicators, the input simulation switches, and the output manual control switches. It possesses latches for outputs working in background time with respect to the microcomputer. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for small or mid-range systems programmed in BASIC or other high-level languages.
