The two sections consist of a short section (1) with stepped dia. and is provided with a threaded sector (8) and a splined section (9), on which the steering wheel is fitted. A second long section (2) has a conical section at the end of which is a corrugated section (10) on whose end is a connecting flange (11). The two sections are joined together with an angled connecting edge, round which are fitted two half-shells (3,4) joined together by a weld seam which also locks the spindle sections. The shells are provided with steering lock slots.
