The present invention relates to the field of circuits for electrical neurophysiological stimulation in which electrical signals are used, applied to tissues by means of external or surgically implanted electrodes. According to the invention, a current control I is applied to the said electrodes via a connecting capacitor; thus, an input control voltage V is converted into a control current I and the d.c. voltage on the upstream terminal of the connecting capacitor C is detected in order to bring it to a zero value by acting on the conversion circuit.
