The invention relates to diesel engine cylinder heads comprising, in line with each combustion chamber 2, a partially cylindrical cavity 5 in which a body 6, containing a combustion prechamber 7, is inserted and having a lateral opening 10 through which the endpiece 12 of a glowplug 13, screwed into the cylinder head 1, passes freely, a sealing sleeve 21 surrounding the endpiece 12 of the plug and bearing on the outer face of the body 6 around the opening 10. According to the invention, the sleeve 21 is axially clamped in a sealed fashion on one side against an external face 19 of the body 6 parallel to the axis of the cavity 5, and on the other side against an elastic annular piece 23, in sealed axial bearing, on a shoulder 23 of a plug 13. <IMAGE>
