In a device for drying and shrinking textile mesh, in particular tubular mesh, slotted nozzles (22, 23) made of nozzle walls (26, 28 or 27, 29) narrowing towards the nozzle opening (24, 25) are provided on the nozzle boxes (6, 7) lying opposite one another at a distance, at least one nozzle wall (28 or 29) being adjustable in the distance from the other nozzle wall (26 or 27) in order to obtain nozzle openings of different width and thus air flows of different strength. To this end, the adjustable nozzle walls are connected by means of push rods (48, 49). The nozzle boxes are moreover suspended on a lifting frame (16) and can be set to different heights by hand or by means of a servomotor for changing the transport space (42), to which end a lifting arrangement, which can be actuated independently of the other, is expediently provided at each end of the lifting frame (16), in order thus to be able to bring the upper nozzle boxes into an inclined position also. <IMAGE>
