PURPOSE:To decrease a top clearance and attain a high efficiency, by forming a projection integrally with a discharge valve in such a manner as to be projected reversely of a valve pusher plate at a discharge hole of the discharge valve and be inserted into the discharge hole under the closed condition of the discharge valve. CONSTITUTION:When a motor element 13 is operated, a compressor element 15 is driven to admit a refrigerant from a suction pipe 23 into a cylinder 17. Then, the refrigerant is compressed by a piston 16, and is discharged from a discharge hole 25. Then, the refrigerant is fed from the refrigerant discharging chamber 20 into a closed vessel 10, and is permitted to flow through a discharge pipe 24 to a refrigerating cycle (not shown). A discharge valve 26 is integrally formed with a projection 29 projecting reversely of a valve pusher plate 27 at the discharge hole 25. As the projection 29 is inserted into the discharge hole 25 under the closed condition of the discharge valve 26, a top clearance is decreased by a volume corresponding to the projection 29 inserted into the discharge hole 25, and a compression loss due to re-expansion of a compressed gas is reduced, thereby attaining a high efficiency of the compressor. |
