PURPOSE:To prevent the transfer and release of an ink layer due to blocking, integration due to the ink exuded from a side surface or the detachment of an ink sheet and a ribbon end part, by forming a layer made of a specific acrylic copolymer to the side receiving heat energy of the ink sheet. CONSTITUTION:A copolymer layer consisting of 5-80pts.wt. of an acrylic monomer represented by formula I[wherein R is H or CH3, R' is COOR'', OR'', CONHR'' or COO(CH2)m(CF2)1-X. R'' is CnH2n-1, X is H or F, n is an integer of 12-22, m is an integer of 0-3 and l is an integer of 1-10. When R' is OR'', R is H] and 20-95pts.wt. of a vinyl monomer copolymerizable with said monomer is formed. As the acrylic monomer, long chain alkyl acrylate or methacrylate, long chain alkyl vinyl ether, etc. are used and, as the polymerization initiator used in the copolymerization of the copolymer, an org. peroxide or azo type initiator is used. |
