The invention "sterilising filtration process and water sterilisation apparatus therefor, in particular having a sterilising filter and/ôor a fine clarifying filter" makes possible a simplified water treatment. In this case, even a "sterilising filtration" is possible without complex pretreatment of the raw water in a pretreatment bag, possibly after dissolution of added chemical agents, by pumping the raw water through fine clarifying filters and sterilising filters. According to the invention, raw water is pumped from a small vessel through a coarse filter and fine clarifying filter and/ôor sterilising filter in such a way that simultaneously to pumping raw water into the metering cylinder of the pump, to vortex this liquid standing in the sterilising filtration vessel and now to be filtered, liquid, which was sucked into a storage space during the preceding pressure stroke, is passed into this. The introduction or suction of these liquids preferably takes place in this case in the vicinity of the vessel bottom, opposing liquid streams forming in circulation above this. As a result of the vortex flow forming in the raw water above the vessel bottom or upstream of the feed to the metering cylinder of the pump, the pump remains functional and a solution of the chemicals possibly added to induce freedom from bacteria and a good mixing of the raw water occur. |
