<p>Biologically-active (2-amino) purine nucleosides of the formula:
<Chemistry id="chema01" num="0001"><Image id="ia01" he="39" wi="34" file="IMGA0001.TIF" imgContent="chem" imgFormat="TIFF" inline="no" /></Chemistry>are disclosed wherein X is CH or N, and R is selected from the group consisting of N(Y)<Sub>2</Sub>, SY, OY and halogen, wherein Y is H, lower(alkyl), phenyl or mixtures thereof; and the pharmaceutically-acceptable salts thereof. The compounds exhibit antiviral and antitumor activity.</p> |
