Mounting for a high-power wind converter for the generation of electrical current. This mounting consists of a mast anchored in the foundation and of a machine set (impeller and generator) attached to the upper end of the mast. The mast has an installation portion anchored in the foundation and, from the underside of the generator gondola about as far as the lower end of a downwardly set impeller vane, a slender passage region. A particularly simple form of construction, easy assembly and outstanding aerodynamics are achieved in that the passage region A has a slim hollow carrying bar T, arranged in the axis of centre of gravity of the generator gondola G, for receiving the electrical powers, the said carrying bar being surrounded by supporting bars S' which are thinner in comparison with the carrying bar T and which are made of high-strength alloys. The passage region A, which carries the generator gondola G9 and which is fastened in an easily releasable way to the installation portion B, is designed as an independently preassembled structural unit with measures, adapted to the special bar construction T, S, S', for improving the aerodynamics of the passage region A and/or of the machine set G, IF. <IMAGE> |
