TRUTH AND FALSEHOOD DISCRIMINATOR FOR CARD

PURPOSE:To make correct truth/falsehood discrimination possible even when the data of a card are reproduced by performing the truth/falsehood discrimination on the card based on the physical properties of the card material. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic powder which is specified in correspondence to the kind of transaction or each customer is mixed with the card 1, so each card has a specific magnetic rate. A card material reading means 2 detects the magnetic rate of the card. A card truth/falsehood discrimination means 3 compares the detected magnetic rate with an upper limit magnetic rate value L1 and a lower limit value L2 stored in its internal memory and discriminates a true card when the detected magnetic rate is within the range between said upper limit value L1 and lower limit value L2.
