PURPOSE:To analyze the fault of a system by comparing data of a data gathering device which stores transmitted and received data between a terminal device of an on-line system and a center computer (CC) on the side of the terminal device for a period longer than an object period of fault analysis with data of the CC side. CONSTITUTION:Data which are transmitted forth and back between the CC 10 and all terminal devices 14 of the banking on-line system, etc., and include no error data are stored on an MT 20 for a period (e.g. one day) longer than an object period of fault analysis. Then, data which are transferred between the respective terminal devices 14 and CC 10 and include error data are stored on an MT 26 for said period. Then, the CC 10 runs a fault program to input and collate data of the MT 20 and MT 26 with each other, thereby knowing the frequency, kind, and cause of a fault and the frequency of retrial for the fault. |
