PURPOSE:To lengten the life of an air spring, by embedding a reinforcing woven fiber fabric in a wear-preventive rubber ring for protecting a diaphragm or bellows, to heighten the rigidity of the rubber ring to protect it from damage. CONSTITUTION:The cross section of a wear-preventive rubber ring 14 is shaped as inverted L so that the rubber ring is bonded on the two surfaces (top and side) of the shoulder of an inner cylinder 1. Two woven fiber fabrics 15 are overlaid together and embedded in nearly the whole rubber ring 14. As a result, the rigidity of the rubber ring 14 is heightened without increasing its hardness, so that the rubber ring is kept from being separated from the inner cylinder 1, which would lead to the dropping-off or damage of the rubber ring. |
