PURPOSE:To shorten the operating time and to improve the operating efficiency as well as the data input accuracy with an automatic teller machine, by using a handwritten character reading means that reads optically the contents written on a slip. CONSTITUTION:When cash is transferred, the necessary contents are previously handwritten on a prescribed slip. Then the slip is put into an optical handwritten character reading means OCR9. Thus a main control part 2 gives prescribed conversion to the read input image for cash transfer and displays it on a display part 6 in the form of conversion data. Then two data displayed at the part 6 are compared with each other and the cash transfer is carried out with the prescribed operations as long as no mistake is detected from said comparison. A mistake if detected is corrected with operations of an operating part 5. Thus it is possible to shorten the processing time and improve the operating efficiency as well as the data input accuracy with an automatic teller machine. |
