PURPOSE:To improve the adhesiveness between a recording layer and a substrate and wettability and to faithfully retain the shape of the grooves formed to a substrate even in a thick film by providing an org. dye film in an amorphous state right under a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:The recording medium formed with the recording layers 14, 16 consisting of metal such as Te and Bi or org. dye or thin amorphous Tb-Fe film is provided on the substrate 11 of an acrylic resin, glass, etc. formed with grooves. The org. dye film in the amorphous state consisting of Crystal Violet lactone, Malachite Green lactone, red coloring leuco dye or the like is used to an underlying layer 13 or spacer 15 right under the recording layer of such medium. The adhesiveness between the recording layer and the substrate and the wettability are thereby improved and the shape of the grooves formed to the substrate is faithfully retained even in the thick film. |
