PURPOSE:To form an image in a large size through one work by providing a means, which feeds the 2nd paper at the timing when the 2nd paper overlaps with the end of the fed 1st paper by a specified length and raises a transfer voltage when the overlapping part passes through a transfer position. CONSTITUTION:When a multiconveyance paper feed mode is set, the 1st paper 2a is fed out of the 1st paper feed cassette 2 in a one image forming process at the prescribed paper feed timing, and simultaneously the 2nd paper 3a is fed out of the 2nd paper feed cassette 3 at the timing when the 2nd paper can overlap with the 1st one 2a by the certain length. Moreover, when the duplicated part of the 1st and 2nd papers 2a and 3a passes through the transfer position, the means raises the transfer voltage, and one image is continuously formed on two papers. Since the voltage of a transfer charger 8 is raised when the overlapping part is transferred, the image is formed on two paper in the same manner as a toner image is transferred on one paper. Due to the raised voltage, two papers electrostatically attract each other, and therefore they are conveyed and discharged without peeling errors. |
