<p>PURPOSE:To scale down facilities, to improve energy efficiency, to shorten workhours and to enhance workability by bringing a material to be screened near to a coil and conducting screening by utilizing heat generation due to eddy currents. CONSTITUTION:ICs to be screened 1 are fed onto a top plate 5 for an electromagnetic induction heating system 2 under the state in which they are placed and held on a jig 6 in a large number. When an electromagnetic induction coil 4 is conducted, the magnetic lines of force 9 are generated in the jig 6 and outer leads 12, inner leads 13, a tab 14 and bonding wires 15 for the IC 1. Eddy currents 10 are generated by the magnetic lines of force 9, and eddy- current generating position themselves generate heat by the electric resistance of said positions. When there is an imperfect disconnecting section 15a in the bonding wires 15, the imperfect disconnecting section 15a is melted by said heat generation, thus completely disconnecting the section 15, then screening the ICs.</p> |
