<p>PURPOSE:To transfer powder safely and reliably as well as to obtain a highly reliable power transmitting device for vehicles by a method wherein the transmission and reception of power is performed by utilyzing electromagnetic induction or magnetic coupling. CONSTITUTION:When an electromagnetic coil 11 is excited by a power source 10, the coil 11 forms an alternating magnetic field, and this alternating magnetic field is formed in the vehicle member 12 which performs the function as a magnetic path. As the alternating magnetic field located in the vehicle member 12 crosses an electromagnetic coil 13, electromotive force is induced in the coil 13 by an electromagnetic inductive effect. Said electromagnetive force is alternating electromotive force, and it drives load 14. For example, various kinds of detecting and indicating operations can be performed by the load 14 using signal power, and also a heater, for example, can be heated up with a non-signal power. A series of static constituent elements or a plurality of constituent elements in assembled form, wherein one element moves to the other element, can be used for the vehicle member 12. Also, a converter with which a direct current is converted into an alternating current can be contained in the first electromagnetic transducer according to circumstances.</p> |
