PURPOSE:To provide a mold, which realizes molding under the state that a rope-like substance is held at the middle of a molded product by keeping the rope-like substance from becoming eccentric, by a structure wherein a plurality of projections, the tip of each of which reaches the peripheral surface of the rope-like substance, are planted vertically to the mating surface of the mold at least at the portion opposite to a resin forcing-in port on the inner surface of a cavity. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, a rope-like substance 2 is fitted to grooves 7b under the state that molds 5a and 5b are open. Secondly, the rope-like substance 2 is pinched between grooves 7a and 7b by closing the molds 5a and 5b. At the above-mentioned state, the rope-like substance 2 in cavities 6a and 6b is supported with needle-shaped projections 9 so as to hold the rope-like substance 2 at the middle of the cavities 6a and 6b. Under the state just mentioned above, molten resin is forced in from a resin forcing-in port 8 so as to fill a hollow space between the cavities 6a and 6b and the rope-like substance 2 in order to mold a molded product 3. The molded product 3, in which the rope-like substance 2 is inserted, is obtained by opening the molds 5a and 5b and taking the rope-like substance 2 and the molded product 3 out of the cavities 6a and 6b. |
