The invention proposes a diaphragm damper cell for easily ignited gaseous or liquid fuels in which the pot-shaped housing (10) is closed by means of a freely vibrating diaphragm (14) which is clamped firmly by its edge (15) on the rim flange (13) of the housing (10) by a clamping part (16) acting as a cover (19) and can vibrate freely over the remaining area to provide damping. The clamping part (16) is secured on the housing (10) in a crush-proof and deformation-resistant manner by a weld (18) in the form of a flanged seam so that, even when the diaphragm cell is deformed forcibly from outside, there is no risk of severence and the escape of fuel at that location. Adjoining the rim flange (13) of the housing (10) is a cylindrical neck part (22). Adjoining the annular rim (17) of the cover (19), which clamps the diaphragm (14) in the region of the edge (15), is an approximately cylindrical inner neck (23) which is accommodated with a sliding fit or press fit in the neck part (22). The two form an edge joint which is firmly connected at the free axial end by means of the flanged seam (18). The press fit ensures that, when the cover (19) is inserted, it is a firm fit and that the diaphragm (14) is clamped even before the flanged seam (18) is produced. <IMAGE> |
