The adjustable door or window hinge mounting incorporates an eccentric adjuster whereby longitudinal adjustment of the hinge arm, i.e. perpendicular to the hinge axis is possible with the window open or closed. The hinge = spindle eyes (24) are joined by a section (25) parallel to the hinge axis to form a C-shaped component, which has a sliding fit on the E-shaped base (10). The base bears a pivot (axis 15') for an eccentric nut-shaped adjuster (16) the flat surfaces of which bear against the inner wall of the C-shaped sliding component. A hexagonal socket (17) accepts an adjusting key.
